This Weekend: Combat Sports Action!

Happening this weekend is Liga Kombat 1.2!
Here is a little bit about the bouts!
Watch Out For These Guys!
First up is Johorean Reza Machete
who won his bout at the last Liga
Kombat in the bantamweight category
back in March at Liga Kombat 1.1
against Sufe The Tanker from Street
Division Combat. By the way, he (and
his opponent) took on that fight at 2
weeks notice! He moved on to competing
at Malaysian Invasion in Featherweight
and won the same way he did at Liga
Kombat 1.1. Dominantly like a true Johorean!
This time round, he takes on Wan Raziq who fights out of Future Fitness Gym, Selangor.
He may be coming off a loss but he is under the good hands of Arm Ghani who has also
seen success in handling fighters such as Fahim Noh and Ijam Asri. It would be interesting
to see what Wan Raziq pulls out from his gloves (no sleeves mah!) against his fight against
Reza Machete from Equinox Gym! It's Selangor VS Johor!
Miam Natasha wife of local Muay Thai
superstar and coach at CTR 313 Awie Toksheikh
will be fighting Nur Amisha with a 6 win streak.
This bout will be very interesting as both women
have won all their fights thus far!
Will Miam Natasha bring the win home to CTR
or will she be headhunted by Nur Amisha!?
Another bout to lookout is also a women's bout featuring WaWa Braveheart VS Anis G.I Jane!
Wawa Braveheart who fights out of Sampuri Muay Thai, Kuala Lumpur won her very first
Muay Thai amateur fight back in Liga Kombat 1.1. She has since then taken home another win
at an amateur Muay Thai event down south of Peninsular. Looks like someone has been well
fired up! She takes on Anis G.I Jane who fights out of Heritage Muay Thai, Kuala Lumpur and
this will be her first fight!
The SUPER 4; Featuring Bpeng, Long Lui, Nidal & Kai Chee.
The SUPER 4 format is a staple in Malaysian Muay Thai. How the format works is 2 groups
fighters will be placed on either side of the bracket. Winners will advance to the final round
of the tournament at the end of the night.
On top of that, notable bouts;
Singapore VS Malaysia!
Rishipal Singh (Fight G) VS Azreel Tumalak (Lekir Fitness) in an amateur Muay Thai bout.
Johor VS Kuala Lumpur!
Muhammad Arif Izzudin (Equinox Gym) VS Muhammad Akmal (Combatives)
This is just SOME of the local talent that will be displaying their skills in the ring this Saturday!
Doors open at 7.30PM, Stadium Titiwangsa.
Tickets can be purchased at the door for RM 20.
